I'll be honest with you...I started a women's golf clothing line and I'm not a great golfer. In fact, some days it can take me 8 strokes on a par 4- so those days I'm not even a good golfer...but I love the game...
I picked up golf as an adult when I joined a women's 9-hole leage in a small town in Montana after I got married. With a preppy and calssic taste in clothing, I was looking for something on the market that reflected more of my every day wardrobe - skirts where I could throw on a pair of heals and a blazer and have lunch or dinner at the club after a round. Together with my husband's help we started Course & Club in 2017 - a boutique line of elegant golf apparel where we labored over the fit, features and fabric of everyone of our skorts for years. My goal was to offer flattering silhouette's that are comfortable enough to be active in and fashionable enough to keep on long after your round.
Even though I didn't gow up a golfer, I have learned to love so many things about this game over the years. Of course, there are plenty of things about the game to make me frustrated too. I love that when I'm golfing I'm usually in one of the most beautiful settings in the area - nature's own stadium. I love walking 9 holes with a great friend and catching up on life. I love that I can golf with my husband and love that we can be active with another couple while golfing. I love that I can (hopefully) still play the game when I'm in my 80's. I love that the game is so challenging that professionals making millions on the tour can still miss a 2 foot putt just like me. What a great game!
